Joyce Morgan has more than 30 years of experience working with dogs. She has trained and shown many dogs, and has five Obedience Trial Champions (OTCh) to her credit. She also earned the first Utility Dog Excellent title (UDX) in Austin.

While her own dogs are poodles, she has a wealth of experience in dog training with all breeds and sizes of dogs.

Joyce travels all around the country exhibiting her dogs at AKC licensed obedience trials.

Margaret Bleakney Go back to top of page.
Margaret Bleakney started her obedience career by training a German shepherd in 1972. She has trained 6 German shepherds, 4 Pembroke Welsh corgis, and a miniature poodle. She has earned 8 CDs, 1 CDX and 1 UDX. Margaret"s successful record as a breeder of German shepherds and corgis speaks for itself: multiple champion shepherds, with 2 earning Register of Merit titles. Margaret currently teaches the intermediate class at Joyce Morgan Dog Training Center. This is the class that immediately follows the basic class, and precedes the class where dogs are "polished" for competition in the novice (companion dog) obedience class in AKC trials. Marty Coody began training dogs in 1958 with her doberman which obtained a UD. Since then she has trained a variety of breeds, including a German shepherd, poodles, vizslas, and a papillon. She has earned multiple CDs and CDXs, and has trained a Vizsla to a UD, and a poodle to a UDX. In 1960 Marty"s doberman ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. Her vizslas have been highly ranked in Front and Finish for multiple years. Her current Vizsla, Lucy, is also the top Novice Rally dog in Vizslas. In addition to obedience and rally, Marty has also titled dogs in conformation, tracking, and hunt tests, and she enjoys therapy dog work.

Marty teaches the novice class, and often helps with the basic obedience classes. She enjoys working with all students, and particularly enjoys helping those preparing for competition.

Charlene Cuthbert Go back to top of page.
Charlene Cuthbert began with her first boxer, Nellie, which went from dragging her owner down the street to the top boxer in obedience competition in the United States for three years! This was not a fluke as her next dog, a Pembroke Welsh corgi, became the top obedience Pembroke in the United States for three years. Since that time Charlene has had many wonderful boxers that have earned conformation championships and obedience titles.

Dawn Dutelle Go back to top of page.
Dawn Dutelle was eight when she started showing her collie at fun events. Since then, in addition to collies, she has also trained rottweillers, German shepherds and labradors. Dawn has titled three dogs to the CDX level in obedience, one dog has Rally titles, and two dogs have achieved hunt test and working test titles. She also competes in agility. In her spare time she participates in two retriever clubs and takes care of her cats and horses.

Irina Sasu Irina started training and showing an intact male Doberman in 2000 and has never looked back. Irina enjoys showing in the breed ring as well as training her dogs for multiple performance arenas where they excel obedience, rally, agility, tracking, Schutzhund). Among all these activities, she has always had a soft spot in her heart for obedience. She has put multiple CDs, CDXs and all levels of Rally titles on her dogs. Irina especially enjoys working with those just starting out in obedience and rally. She currently teaches the Novice Rally and Advanced Rally classes.

Andrea Torres began training and showing dogs in 1996. Since then, her Australian shepherds have earned 5 conformation championships, 3 CDs, and 2 CDXs. She is a member of the Australian Shepherd Club of America and is active in their local affliate club. Andrea has assisted with numerous classes in obedience and conformation at the training center. Currently, she is assisting with the open class during the week and teaches a basic and intermediate class on the weekends.

Jennifer Tennison Go back to top of page.
Jennifer Tennison has been training Giant Schnauzers since 2004. She has both a Companion Dog (CD) title and a Rally Excellent (RE) title on one of her dogs, a Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) and RE on another Giant, and is now training toward a Utility Dog (UD) title. Jennifer finds obedience and showing her Giants as the most exhilerating and fulfilling activity she has ever done. Teaching Rally and heping other people achieve their goals and titles is very rewarding. She counts herself very fortunate to have such a great facility to train her dogs. Jennifer Tennison
