Richard Harbin Richard started as a student with Joyce Morgan in 1999 with a male labrador retriever puppy (Tejas) and has been successful in the obedience ring titling Tejas with a CD, CDX, and UD. His CD title was earned with 3 first place awards, and one High in Trial! His UD was also earned with 3 first placements. Richard's second labrador, Katie, earned her CDX with 2 first places before her second birthday. She has earned her Novice Agility and Novice Agility Jumpers titles with all first and second placements. Richard's newest addition, a labrador puppy named Jag, is in training as a puppy. Richard is also active with his dogs in hunter retriever competition. Tejas has his senior hunter (SH) title, with 2 passes towards his master's title, and Katie has her master's (MH). Richard subs in the obedience classes as needed, and "pays the bills". |

Karen Hunt Karen started showing dogs in 1982 when she started with Siberian huskies. Since then she has shown in both obedience and conformation, and has handled, trained, and titled many breeds in conformation, from papillons to great Danes. She has been teaching conformation classes for fifteen years, and at one time was Director of Conformation Training for a 400+ member, multi-site obedience club. In addition to teaching a regular conformation class, Karen particularly enjoys teaching novice handling classes and helping people to discover the joys and challenges of showing their own dogs in conformation dog shows. |

Jack Watts Jack and his wife Kay have bred and shown their own breedings since 1985. They have bred and finished 17 Great Dane champions since the start. Jack has handled selected dogs professionally on occasion but usually shows his own dogs and has handled 2 Dane specials to national ranking in Great Danes. Jack has received provisional status from AKC in Great Danes and plans on adding more breeds to judge as time allows. Jack started teaching conformation at Austin Canine Central in January of this year. His classes are Tuesday evening at 8PM. |
